The Series at The Standard
The Series, with its vow to “blur the line between audience and performance,” has quickly become one of downtown LA’s most innovative art events. Founded upon the ideals of cross-fertilization and collaboration, it brings artists from every discipline to the roof of the Standard hotel for one spectacular night of sights, sounds, and overall wonder. Together, the works of these talented artists fuse to create one mind-blowing event that consistently defies and exceeds all audience expectations.
The Series’ eighth installment, “The Sky’s Gone Out,” includes live performances, shadow puppetry, video art, and everything in between. With work from our own Matt Amato, Ariana Natale, and the lovely Mia Doi Todd, the event promises to be a whirlwind of a show, so check it out! After all, what could be more fun than a night that leaves you wondering just when exactly the real performance began?
