Fan-made shoes and other perks by Ben Barnes
At a recent WHY? show in New York, somebody approached the band and gave them these, a pair of Vans that, among other things, depicts a shot from my video for A Sky For Shoeing Horses Under. Josiah broke them out during the January Twenty Something shoot, and the absolute best part is that the guy’s eyes light up when you put your foot inside. The shoebox is signed by their self-proclaimed eight biggest fans, so I’m not sure if all eight people collaborated or it’s the labor of just one person, but what an awesome experience to have your work commemorated in shoe tableaux.
