“The Old Boy” Held in High Regard

Masses associate Matthew Cardarople’s latest documentary The Old Boy is touring the festivals and for good reason. The Old Boy is a documentary film made by a one-man-crew, Cardarople.  The movie revolves around the compelling story of his 92 year-old Grandfather, Philip, as he attempts to take another swing at his life’s dreams by enrolling in the Red Sox Fantasy Camp and playing ball at Boston’s Fenway Park. The movie is also a love story of an enduring marriage and a testament of Matthew’s devotion to his family.  The overall impression is intensely moving.

The Old Boy has recently been accepted by the Woods Hole Film Festival in which critic Tim Miller proclaims the film as “the most moving of the fest films I’ve seen!”
