Bio: Raúl B Fernández
Raúl B Fernández was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After several moves about the world, his family settled in Florida, where he earned his BA from Florida State University in 2005.
Raúl continued his film education, attending the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California, where he completed an MFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Directing and Cinematography.
He has received several awards for his work, including Coca-Cola’s “Refreshing Filmmaker Award” and the Charles B Lang Award for Merit in Cinematography. His entry in the Heinz “Top This TV Challenge” has been broadcast nationally and his work for Nestle earned the marketing team Nestle’s “Very Best Marketing Award.”
Raúl’s background as a musician can be recognized in his creative integration of film and music. Drawing inspiration from his childhood, he often incorporates early cinematic techniques in innovative ways. Having graduated in 2009, he is beginning his career in the film industry as a director primarily in the commercial and music video field.
When not making films or writing autobiographies, Raúl enjoys competitive table-tennis with friends and family.
