Baron von Luxxury “Rosebud Was The Name of His Sled”
“Rosebud Was the Name of His Sled” is Masses director Ben Fee’s latest project for electropop mastermind Baron von Luxxury. The video, which premiered today on LA TIMES, is intriguing to say the least. With every stroke of the synthesizer another layer is added and we’re led deeper into the cyclical dreamworld of “Rosebud.” It seems only appropriate that the video contain cues that derive from the age of the Baron’s forefathers–roller skates, leggings, and even El Caminos. But ultimately it’s the Baron’s sound–every bit as sweet as his name–that Ben Fee employs to help tell his tale.
Featuring roller chases, mummy monsters, and of course the Baron himself, “Rosebud” is one of those videos that you certainly don’t want to miss.
